About Us

Echoing Bhagwan Mahaveer’s universal philosophy of “Live and Let Live”, the Singhvi Charitable Trust was established in 1974. It fulfils the desire to help the deserving and assist the underprivileged of our society.

The Trust embarks upon socially significant activities and tackles the current problems of the underprivileged through its activities with special focus on health care.

Catering to the weaker sections of the society, the Trust organizes dental and eye camps:

  • Every Sunday in rural Tamil Nadu
  • Daily in-house camps at Singhvi Scan & Diagnostic Centre, Triplicane, Chennai
  • Medical camps in Pali district, Rajasthan.

Since inception, the Trust has successfully conducted 4837 in-house camps and 1003 rural camps in various parts of Tamil Nadu within a radius of about 100 kms from Chennai, till 31.3.2023.

LIMCA BOOK OF RECORDS 2009 has recognized the Trust for the free spectacle distribution to the public in the camps conducted by the Organization in the rural areas of Tamil Nadu.

Mission & Vision

Our vision is to give medical assistance to the weaker sections of the community irrespective of any caste, creed or religion.

In order to achieve our vision, the Trust is committed:
  • To provide a fairly wide range of treatment by organizing in-house medical camps at Singhvi Scan and Diagnostic Centre, urban slums and remote rural areas to serve the under-served poor patients of the community.
  • To provide free spectacles.
  • To motivate the patients to undergo free eye surgery at premier hospitals in Chennai referred by the Trust.
  • To provide free dental treatment.
  • To provide free medicines.
  • To provide assistance for heart surgeries.
  • To assist other Organizations with similar interests.
  • To perform all the above tasks irrespective of any caste, creed or religion.
